Ada Inez Lovell Dyess, 88, of Phenix City, AL stepped through Heavens gates on Thursday, November 11, 2021 while at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM (EST) on Monday, November 15, 2021 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Brian Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:00 till 6:00 PM (EST) at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dyess was born July 1, 1933 in Whites Chapel, AL daughter of the late John Phillip Lovell and Minnie Elizabeth Pope Lovell. She had retired from Raymond Rowe Furniture after many years of dedicated service. Mrs. Dyess enjoyed working in her yard and the flowers she was able to grow. However, the apple of her eye was her family and doing fun things with them. She enjoyed attending worship, shopping, collecting angels and purses with them all the time. We will remember the legacy she has left us with her strong faith and love of family. We will miss her, but we are comforted in knowing she is safe with her Savior, Jesus, in Heaven now.
Mrs. Dyess was the last of her siblings, being the baby of 12 other siblings. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Talmadge Dyess and a son, Rickey Outlaw.
Survivors include her daughter, Jovita Foster (Lee), Buena Vista, GA; grandson, Chris Tyson; three great-grandchildren, Brock Glenn (Paula), Hannah Tyson and Jolee Tyson; four great-great-grandchildren, Maddox, Blake, Kinley and Cammie; special neighbor, Jeri; loving and devoted nieces and nephews and many friends.
