Alesia Kay Terry Long, 56, of Phenix City, AL died at her home Wednesday, January 29, 2020 surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, February 01, 2020 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Walter Underwood officating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Long was born June 27, 1963 in Ft. Benning daughter of the late James Albert Terry and Eva Pearl Kendrick Terry. She was a home maker and Baptist by faith. Mrs. Long loved her family and especially her granddaughter, Emily. She also enjoyed collecting old gas station signs and gas pumps along with various other Knick knacks. We will miss her in our lives and daily routine; however her memories and wisdom will continue to impact us and future generations.
Mrs. Long was also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Mickey Dunn Long and a sister, Stephanie McGlaun.
Survivors include her special twins, Falaine Thomas (Jason) and Chilita Long all of Phenix City, AL; two sisters, Brenda Terry Smoak (Andy) and Chilita Gilliland (Jerry); precious granddaughter, Emily Vernon; numerous extended family and friends also survive.
