Allison Harris Hightower, 53, of Midland, GA passed away at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
The funeral services will be hosted by Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends an hour before the service begins.
Allison, daughter of Mike Harris and Pam Strength Harris, was born November 3, 1969, in Columbus, GA. She graduated from Auburn University in 1991. Later that same year she married her husband, Chad. Allison was a teacher in Phenix City, Alabama for many years before starting a small business with Chad. In her free time, Allison enjoyed playing tennis, trying new places with her birthday club, and tailgating at Auburn Football games. She was a natural leader who enjoyed helping and comforting others. She loved hard and was a loyal daughter, wife, mother, and friend. Allison lived life to its fullest and was a genuinely happy person. We will always remember her smile, straight to the point attitude, big heart, and endless love. Thank you for being such a big a part of our lives.
Her survivors include her parents, Mike and Pam Harris; her husband of 31 years, Chad Hightower; two children, Alexandria “Alex” and Austin Hightower; two siblings, Cortney Haywood (TJ) and Jason Harris; sister-in-law, Nobia McCall; six nieces and nephews, Ryan Harris, Riley Harris, Caroline Harris, Isaac Grimes (Leigh), Jesse McCall, Will Haywood and Emmie Haywood and several other family member and friends.
