Amanda “Mandy” Strickland age 39 of Phenix City, AL died on December 30, 2020 in Columbus, GA. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM EST at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, AL. Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL is assisting the family.
Mandy was born on June 23, 1981 to Mitchell and Robin Goodman Porter of Phenix City, AL. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Strickland; a sister, Nicole “Sissy” Nixon (Josh) of Columbus, GA; three sisters-in-law: Tammy Strickland (Doug) of Newnan, GA, Tangie Summerall (Charles) of Fortson, GA, and Tonya Foster (Jeremy) of Phenix City, AL; two brothers: Keith Porter (Summer) of Phenix City, AL and Chris Porter (Melissa) of Smiths Station, AL; a special Aunt and Uncle, Shirley and Lou Wallace of Thomasville, AL; and several nieces and nephews as well as a special “fur-baby”, Remi.
Mandy was a member of Greater Life Baptist Church in Midland, GA. She was the Owner and operator of Strickly Clean Cleaning Services. Amanda was a very caring and loving person, who always put others first. Her nieces and nephews meant everything to her.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Vance Memorial Funeral Home to help cover Funeral expenses.
