Amber Scott

Amber Scott, age 26, resident of Smiths Station, Alabama, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center Columbus. Memorial services will be held at the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 US Hwy 431N/280W, Phenix City, Alabama on Thursday, December 9, 2021 ,at 3p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 5-7 p.m.
Amber, daughter of Crystal Valerie Fortune Scott and the late Todd Miles Scott, was born August 22, 1995 in Columbus. She was a young lady who loved animals which she rescued, cared for, and raised several thru the years. Amber enjoyed listening to all genres of music, enjoyed those quite times of reading, but most of all she looked forward to and cherished spending quality time with her fiance’ Blake. Amber also enjoyed spending time outdoors and taking trips to Colorado. The family remembers her as an energetic young lady, someone who constantly had a great attitude, always full of happiness and compassion for others.
Amber is survived by her fiance’, Blake Wood of Smiths Station; her Mom, Crystal Scott of Phenix City; two brothers, Levi Cherry and his wife Rachael of Phenix City and Isaac Scott of Denver, Colorado; maternal grandparents, Jan and Bart Soloman of Phenix City; paternal grandmother, Christina Baldwin of Montrose, Colorado; many other relatives; and her loving pets.
