Ana Gilmore

Ana Gilmore, 33, of Crawford, Alabama, entered into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, in Montgomery, Alabama.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. EST on Saturday, March 25, 2023, in the chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 U.S. Highway 431 North Phenix City, Alabama, with Rev. Richie Ashburn officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Ms. Gilmore was born in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of Gordon Gilmore and Priscilla Sanders Gilmore. She graduated from Smiths Station High School where she was a member of the softball team. Ana had an infectious personality and made anyone she came into contact with smile. She loved deep sea fishing and hunting. Ana had completed her course requirements at Southern Union and was pursuing her nursing degree. For the last fifteen years, Ana has worked in the Ophthalmology field and was currently employed at ITEC in Montgomery, Alabama. Above all, Ana loved her family and especially enjoyed the time she spent with her nieces and nephews.

Ms. Gilmore was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents James and Opal Darby.

Those left to cherish her memory is her father Gordon Gilmore; mother Priscilla Sanders Gilmore; brothers Daniel Gilmore (Hannah) of Salem, AL and Dustin Gilmore (Taylor) of Phenix City, AL; nieces and nephews Emma, Daniel, Reed, Jolie and Colden and many caring friends and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
