Andrea Leigh Pruitt

Andrea Leigh Alleman Pruitt, 37, of Columbus, GA passed away Friday, September 01, 2017 at her home in Columbus, GA.  A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 beginning at 11:00 A.M. EST with the Reverend Bob Spear officiating.  The interment will conclude the service at Parkhill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Monday, September 11, 2017 at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. EST.  The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 9:00 until 11:00 A.M. EST.

Mrs. Pruitt was born October 31, 1979 as Andrea Leigh Alleman.  She was born in Columbus, GA to Kay and John Alleman.  

Mrs. Pruitt was vibrant, energetic and daily displayed her love of family and friends.  She had a radiant smile and contagious laughter.  She was a loving wife and mother, who was dedicated and loyal to her husband and children and driven to provide for them.  She was a hard worker and a great home cook, who loved to entertain her family.  She enjoyed playing kickball and softball with the Parks and Recreation teams.  It was playing kickball where she actually met her husband, Keith.  They were madly in love and crazy about each other. 

Mrs. Pruitt attended Kendrick High School.  She also studied at Columbus Technical College and was a certified Medical Coder.

Survivors include her loving husband of four years, Keith Pruitt; her parents, John and Kay Alleman; a daughter, Joscelyn Skye Wicker; and two sons:  Ace Parker Pruitt and Zax Princeton Pruitt; a sister, Stacy Holliday Alverson of Columbus; a brother and sister-in-law:  Erik and Jennifer White of Kennesaw; a mother-in-law:  Valerie Pruitt of Lawrenceville, GA; and a father-in-law and step mom-in-law:  Jeff and Eva Pruitt of Midland, Ga. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Andrea Pruitt Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Branch to assist the family with financial needs.
