Jim was born February 27, 1946 in N. Tonawanda, NY, son of the late Andrew J. Kehoe, II and Jean L. (Poeller) Kehoe. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam war. After returning home, he joined AT&T climbing telephone poles and ultimately retired as a Project Manager after 30 years of service. An avid clay-shooter and hunter, in retirement he managed the Callaway Gardens Gun Club until it closed. At which point he began honing his woodworking skills, producing beautiful pieces for his family and friends.
He will be forever remembered as a man of integrity, authenticity, and unwavering faith in both God and the New York Yankees. Jim was an active member of St Patrick Catholic Church, serving in the Knights of Columbus. Throughout his life, he dedicated himself to ministry including Marriage Encounter, To Be Church Together, prison ministry and mission work in Haiti.
Jim was known for his willingness to help a stranger, family, friends – it didn’t matter, when you needed something he was there to help. A pillar of strength within our family, his protective nature will be deeply missed in our daily lives. Though he no longer walks beside us, his legacy will endure, shaping future generations.
