Andrew Williams “Will” Pitts, III, 68, of Pittsview, AL died at his home on Saturday, October 02, 2021.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM (EST) (9:00 AM CST) on Tuesday, October 05, 2021 in Pittsview Cemetery, Pittsview, AL with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mr. Pitts was born February 02, 1953 in Eufaula, AL son of the late Andrew Williams Pitts, Jr. and Sarah Austin Ham. He retired from the U. S. Navy after 20 years of dedicated service to our country. After he retired from the Navy, he returned to his home community of Pittsview. He then joined the family business, Pitts Trailers where he again retired. Will loved Alabama Football and game day activities. He also enjoyed shooting Sporting Clays during his younger days. We will miss him in our daily routine, but he will live on in our hearts.
Survivors include his wife, Allene Boyd Pitts, Pittsview, AL; three children, Andrew “Drew” Pitts, IV, Rossi Puzey (Jerry) and Lewis Pitts; one sister, Fern Griffin (Wes) and one brother, Jeff Pitts; three grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to the Pittsview Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 127, Pittsview, AL 36871.
