Angela "Angie" M. Kittrell

Angela “Angie” McGilvary Kittrell, 51, of Crawford, AL passed away Thursday evening, September 29, 2016 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held 3:00 pm EST Monday, October 3, 2016 at Crawford United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Koger officiating.  A private interment will be held by her loving family at a later date.  The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the church on Monday.

Angie was born November 2, 1964 in Columbus, GA to Joyce Farmer McGilvary and the late Hamp McGilvary.  She was employed with Piggly Wiggly in Opelika and was a member of Crawford United Methodist Church.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother who was deeply devoted to her family and faith.  She enjoyed reading and spending quality time with her family, and especially sharing special moments with all her grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother, Joyce Farmer McGilvary, her loving and devoted husband of 34 years, Walter Kittrell, two daughters, Sandy Kittrell, and Brooke Chapman and husband Cyric, one son, Joey Kittrell and wife Alison, sister, Tammy Sloane, brother, Steven Hamp McGilvary and wife Lisa, Mother-in-law, Martha Shirah, (5) grandchildren, Devin White, Gracie White, Avorey Kittrell, Ariana Chapman, and Bransleigh Kittrell, several nieces, and nephew, extended family and many caring friends.
