Angela Marie Chumney Cobb

Angela Marie Cobb, 58, of Smiths Station, AL died peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 06, 2024 surrounded by her family.

A private Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. 

Ms. Cobb was born December 29, 1965 in Phenix City, AL daughter of Margaret Richardson Williams (Jimmy Williams) and the late Curtis Walls. She worked at several local restaurants as a Server. This was a job she absolutely loved. She enjoyed the interaction with her customers. Angela was a giver so serving people fit right in with who she was at heart. She was also an Auburn Football fan and loved the fall football season. Angela loved to be part of football weekends with family and friends gathered around. 

We will remember her as a loving and generous person. She never seemed to stop giving to others. This generosity was really poured out on her grandchildren, as they were her world. We will miss you, but we take comfort in knowing that you are no longer hurting. 

Ms. Cobb was preceded in death by her dad, Curtis Walls; a brother, Christopher Walls and a grandson, Cody Law. 

She is survived by her mother, Margaret Williams (Jimmy); her two daughters Roselyn Hudson (Logan), and Miranda Thomas (Al); two sisters, Stacie Hennessee (Wayne) and Margaret “Peanut” Bryan; one brother, John Walls; four grandchildren, Zoe, Kai, Savannah and Kristina; two nephews, Christopher “Boo Boo” Hennessee and Tyler Hunt; two nieces, Ashley Ruggles and Katie Hunt; a great-nephew and great-niece, Mason Morgan and Adalynn Ruggles; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
