Anjelita Sanchez, 79, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Memorial Services will be announced later.
Anjelita was born on August 2, 1942, in Texas, the daughter of Costillo Medina and Dominga Medina. She was a self-employed childcare worker that loved children. She was a member of Victory Baptist and an avid Bible reader. Anjelita loved her church, her family and enjoyed watching Sci-Fi movies. She taught her family by example to be honest and compassionate, how to cook, clean house and many other things. She could often be heard laughing with her grandchildren and will always be remembered for her smile, her bluntness, telling it like it was, and her hugs and kisses.
She is preceded in death by her father, Costillo Medina; mother, Dominga Medina; and husband, Avelino Sanchez.
She is survived by three Daughters, Lilly (Larry) Ivery, Monica (David) Sanchez and Naomi (Derrick) Sanchez; two sons, Eugene (Maria) Sanchez and Alexander Sanchez; three sisters, Margie Diaz, Mary Medina Lopez and Olga Hozeska; Five Brothers, Victor Medina, Santos Medina, Casper Medina, Ernie Medina and Leo Medina; five granddaughters, Catrina, Dominique, Jasmine, Andrea, and Angel; ten grandsons, Jeffery, Mario, Justin, Ruben, Juan, David, Danny, Robert, Tony, Eugene, Jr., and Carl; a multitude of great-grandchildren ; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
