Ann Strickland Moorefield

Ann Strickland Moorefield, 72, of Chelsea, AL was ushered into Heaven on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 while at Columbiana Health and Rehab.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) on Tuesday, December 07, 2021 in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, GA with Rev. Ricky Ward officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.
Mrs. Moorefield was born September 24, 1949 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Cecil Strickland and Mary Janet Whitehurst. Mrs. Moorefield was a Jordan High School Graduate. She later continued her education earning her degree and practiced as a Licensed Practical Nurse in GA and AL. Mrs. Moorefield was also a homemaker and proud grandmother. She was very creative and used her many talents in various ways, including entertaining, decorating and cooking for family and friends. Her favorite past times were reading, listening to music (especially The Eagles), and playing cards with her late husband. She will be missed in our lives and cherished forever in our hearts.
Mrs. Moorefield was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Wimberly Clark Moorefield.
Survivors include her two daughters, Tracy Brown and Jennifer Moorefield both of Birmingham, AL; one brother, David Strickland; four beloved grandchildren, Kateleigh, Gabe, Joseph and Noah; nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and loving caregivers at Columbiana Health and Rehab for their excellent care and the genuine love shown to our mom while in their care.
