Annamaria "Robbin" Senn, 64, of Mauk, Georgia, sadly passed away on October 27, 2024 at St. Francis, surrounded by love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
Robbin devoted many years of her life as a Certified Nursing Assistant, first at Magnolia Manor and later as a private duty CNA until her retirement. Her commitment to care was unparalleled; she treated each patient as if they were family, embodying the spirit of compassion that defined her life and work.
A true pillar of her family, Robbin was always present when loved ones needed her, often before they even realized it themselves. As a mother, she often humorously told her girls, "I'm not one of your little friends," yet her daughters knew that she was, indeed, their best friend. The bond they shared was immeasurable, filled with laughter, guidance, and love. Robbin was not just a mother; she was their confidante, their source of strength, and an everlasting influence in their lives.
As the beloved Mawmaw, Robbin adored her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. Her generous spirit extended far beyond her immediate family. Robbin had a unique gift for welcoming friends into her life, often declaring, "The first visit you're company, second visit you're family." This hospitality reflected her warm heart and made her home a sanctuary for many.
Robbin's interests were as vibrant as her personality. She had a profound love for music of all genres and enjoyed singing, especially with her daughters. Her passion for cooking and fishing brought joy to her family, who cherish those memories together. Additionally, she looked forward to attending bluegrass gospel shows, which she fondly referred to as her "church days," celebrating faith and friendship in these moments of community.
Robbin is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James Senn, who was truly the love of her life. They just renewed their vows in August, a testament to their unwavering commitment to each other. She is also survived by their daughters: Katherine Sales (Anthony), Tabatha Forsyth (Errick), Amber Butler (Jason), and Alison Senn (Raymond); their grandchildren: Leila, Jason, Lynzie, Ryan, Logan, and Evina; sisters Becky, Tish, Penny, and Cathy; brother Squeaky; and many nieces and nephews. The love she bestowed on her family will resonate through generations.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Dorothy Morris, and her in-laws, James and Barbara Senn. Each of them played a significant role in shaping the extraordinary woman Robbin became.
A visitation will be held in her honor at Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus on October 31, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral service will take place the following day, November 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM, with interment at Parkhill Cemetery immediately after.
Robbin leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her, filling their lives with the warmth and kindness that she so effortlessly radiated. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
