Anneliese Haney

Anneliese Laible Haney, 89, of Midland, GA passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga.  A funeral service will be held at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, Ga on Sunday, March 19, 2017 beginning at 3:00 P.M. EST with Pastor Dennis Lacy officiating.  The interment will be held on Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Main Post Cemetery in Fort Benning, GA at 12:00 P.M. EST.     

Mrs. Haney was born February 14, 1928 in Pirmasens, Germany to the late ­­­­Jakob Laible and Elisabetha Philippina Feldmüller Laible.  She was a homemaker and a member of the World War II War Brides Association.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Haney is predeceased by her loving husband of over fifty-three years, William Silva Haney, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include a daughter, Monika Hart (David, Sr.) of Columbus, GA; one son, Jon Haney (Jennifer) of Columbus, GA; one brother; four grandchildren:  Elise Hancock (Chris) of Columbus, GA, Adam Haney of Gainesville, FL, Caitlin Hart of Columbus, Ga, David Hart, Jr. of Schofield, HI, and soon to be great grandchild, Elle Marie Hancock; as well as her loving fur baby, Woolie.
