Annie Lucille Hartzog

Annie Lucille Baker Hartzog, 88, of Phenix City, AL, passed away Saturday morning joining her beloved husband Henry Hilton Hartzog.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EDT, on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Vance Memorial Chapel with Reverend Billy Duncan and Reverend Matt Sachitano officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home.

Mrs. Hartzog was born in Rocky Head, AL, the daughter of the late H.L. Baker and Lunice Logan Baker. She loved her family and the joys of caring for her home. She enjoyed cooking, flower gardening and watching hummingbirds. She was an active longtime member of Beallwood Baptist Church.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of almost 69 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirley Anne Hartzog Todd and husband Glenn of Grayson, GA and Donna Kay Hartzog Rolling of Phenix City, AL; son in-law, Jeff Rolling; one grandchild, Grant Hunter Rolling; sister Linda Baker Grimes and husband Donnell of Ariton, AL; three nieces, Stephanie Senn and husband Joey, Sheila Grimes, Stacy Forbes and husband Shane; great nieces, nephew, cousins, extended family, church family, and many caring friends.
