Annie Marie Cooper, 86, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am EDT on Monday June 26, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Grant Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.
Mrs. Cooper was born July 7, 1930 in Montgomery, AL to the late R.J. and Eunice Davis. She was retired from the SADISCO where she served as a secretary for many years. She always watched and supported the many activities of her grandchildren and loved to cook. She was also a member of Epworth United Methodist Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Stanley W. Cooper, Sr, son, Sidney Cooper, 2 daughters, Sharon Hannigan and Debra Culpepper, grandson Adams Owens, and brother R.J. Davis.
She is survived by her sons; Stanley W. Cooper, Jr. and wife Connie of Phenix City, AL, Terry Cooper of Smiths, AL and Rickey Cooper and wife Cindy of Phenix City, AL; 2 sisters, Sue Cook of Phenix City, AL and Ernestine Lief of Waco, NE; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and many caring friends.
