Annie Ruth Limbaugh Kirby, 85, of Fortson, GA, passed away at Gentiva Hospice, Monday, May 18, 2015. A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 beginning at 2:00 P.M. EST. at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA. from 12:00 until 1:00 P.M. EST. Reverend James Culpepper will be officiating services. Annie Ruth Limbaugh Kirby was born June 23, 1929 in Talladega, AL. daughter of the late Claude Dixon Limbaugh and Bessie Hurst Limbaugh. Annie was a member of Mountain Hill Baptist Church for 27 years. Annie Ruth will be remembered as a devoted wife loving mother, caring sister and friend. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by two daughters, Sue Ann Clark, and Pamela Joe Wilson. Survivors include, husband of 68 years, Walter B. Kirby; sister, Betty Joe Bussey; grandchildren, Rusty Clark, Matthew Wilson, and Stephanie Jones; Annie Ruth also leaves behind, three great-grandchildren; and nephew, Joseph Wayne Mills.
