Annie Sue King

Annie Sue Millwood King, 72, of Pittsview, AL passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2016 at her home.

 Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am EST, on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Vann officiating.  Interment will follow at Pittsview Cemetery in Pittsview, AL.  The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 until 6:00 pm EST at the funeral home.

 Mrs. King was born July 8, 1944 in Canton, GA daughter of the late Alfred Millwood and Jessie Millwood.  She worked as a Security Officer at Meade Westvaco for many years and attended Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. 

 Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Pearlie King; a son, Charles King and several brothers and sisters.

 She is survived by four daughters, Marsha Hartgrove of Pittsview, AL, Donna Cannon and husband Jimmy of Phenix City, AL, Rosemary Powell and husband Jerry of Phenix City, AL and Tammy Lynn King of Smiths Station, AL; two sons, Pete King and wife Trish of Mobile, AL and Robert Earl King of Seale, AL; three sisters, Mary Alice Croan of Canton, GA, Hazel Chapman of Chatsworth, GA and Barbara Wilkey and husband Johnny of Ballground, GA; two brothers, Marcus Millwood and wife Claudett of Canton, GA and Charles Millwood of Canton, GA; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and several extended family members and caring friends.
