Mr. Arthur Boutwell

Arthur Boutwell, age 60, resident of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at his residence.  Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 US Hwy 431N, Phenix City, Alabama on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 11 a.m. with Reverend James Fuqua and Reverend Clora Tharp officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 10 -11 am.

Mr. Boutwell, son of the late Wiley Glenn Boutwell and JoAnn McDurmont Boutwell, was born July 9, 1960- in Phenix City, Alabama.  He was a carpenter by trade and member of New Hope Full Gospel Church, Phenix City, Alabama.  Mr. Boutwell was very dedicated to his church and loved to sing to the Lord when he attended.  He loved the outdoors, and always looked forward to hunting and fishing.  Mr. Boutwell enjoyed spending time outside landscaping yards.  He enjoyed Alabama football and watching the outdoor channel on television.  Most of all, Mr. Boutwell loved to spend time with his family, particularly his kids and grandchildren.

The family remembers him as a hardworking man, loved everyone, and had a tender heart towards everyone.

Mr. Boutwell is survived by wife, Eunice Boutwell of Phenix City; daughter, Kayla Boutwell of Smiths Station, Alabama; sons, Adam Boutwell and his wife Katlin of Russell County, Alabama and Kyle Boutwell and his wife Kristen of Columbus, Georgia; step-daughter, Jane Holmes of Smiths Station; step-sons, Grady Holmes, Jr. and his wife Christina of Smiths Station and Sam Holmes of Phenix City; sister, Sissy Hildreth of Seale, Alabama; brothers, Rufus Boutwell and his wife Cheryl of Russell County, Mike Boutwell and his wife Pamela of Salem, Alabama, and Wiley Boutwell of Birmingham, Alabama; six grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to New Hope Full Gospel Church, 2701 South Railroad Street, Phenix City, Alabama 36868.
