Asher Morris Lane

Asher Morris Lane, age 6 months, went to be with Jesus on Monday, June 28, 2021.
Private Funeral Services were held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 03, 2021 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Chaplain Allison Owen officiating. Interment followed in Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Asher was born December 30, 2020 in Columbus, GA son of Alex and Amy Morris Lane. He was our late Christmas present who brightened our world. Asher was always smiling and enjoying time with his family outdoors. He especially adored his big sister, Avery. Our sons’ time with us was not as long as we would have wanted, however, we know he is safe in Jesus’ arms and we will see him again.
Asher was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James “Jimmy” Morris.
Survivors include his parents and sister, Alex and Amy Morris Lane and Avery Lane, Smiths Station, AL; maternal grandmother, Robin Morris and paternal grandparents, Robert and Connie Lane all of Phenix City, AL; aunt, Alicia Morris and her child Madison Baird; Uncle and Aunt, Jerry and Abby Lauderman and their children, Ali and Luke Lauderman; numerous other family members and very close friends.
