Aubrey Lee Braswell

Aubrey Lee Braswell, age 66, resident of Colquitt, Georgia and former resident of Columbus, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 14,2023 at Miller County Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, Georgia on Thursday, June 22, 2023, 11 a.m. with Pastor Ken Lott officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 21,2023 from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. Braswell, son of the late Max Braswell and Audrey Mae Paris Braswell, was born August 8, 1956 in Columbus, Georgia. He worked in Construction for over 35 years and was a traveler to many countries, including India, France, and other countries within Europe. He also traveled to numerous stateside cities including New York, Los Angeles with one of his most memorable trips was visiting the site where John Lennon was killed.

Mr. Braswell, a loving and caring man, was a son and a brother who shared his life and those times of happiness. He specifically shared that bond of being a true brother, loving life completely and intensely. Many saw him as a good and respectful man, who if he saw wrong, would try to make it right. Mr. Braswell had that pride of working with his hands. He was a man who will always be remembered.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rex Braswell. Mr. Braswell is survived by one brother, David Price of Columbus; many cousins living throughout the United States; and many friends.
