Audrey Faye Henderson Davis

Audrey Faye Henderson Davis, 77, of Fort Mitchell, AL passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 14, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, GA. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am CDT / 11:00 am EDT Friday, April 17, 2015 at Oswichee Baptist Church in Fort Mitchell with Rev. Ralph Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 CDT / 6:00 to 8:00 EDT at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City. Mrs. Davis was born May 23, 1937 in Geneva, AL to the late Jessie Lee Henderson and Aree Thrower Henderson. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother whom loved her family deeply. She enjoyed cooking gardening, watching her humming birds, and in her past enjoyed bowling. She was a member of Oswichee Baptist Church and was loved dearly by her community. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Lee Davis and a brother, Donald Henderson. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jack Daniel Davis, Sr. of Fort Mitchell, AL, one daughter, Rebecca Lynn Hall of Smiths Station, AL, one son, Jack Daniel “Danny” Davis, Jr. and wife Gina of Savannah, GA. (5) Grandchildren, Melissa Ann Lancaster, Dawna Lee Davis, Tessa Brianne Davis, Jason Ray Tubbs, and Ashley Nichole Davis; (7) great grandchildren, Gabriel, Tristan, Sadie Grace, Tyler, Brianna, Turner, and Kaelynn, numerous other loving family members and many caring friends.
