Autrey Lou Wood, 79, of Columbus, GA stepped into Heaven on Wednesday, June 02, 2021.
Private services will be held on Sunday, June 06, 2021, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Interment will be in Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, GA.
Autrey was born December 24, 1941, in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Carl E. Martin and Vera Bell Cheshire Martin. She was so very special to her family, and she will be missed deeply.
Ms. Wood was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Marcie Lane Singletary.
Survivors include her sister and best friend, Debi Martin Singletary (Mike), Smith Station, AL; one niece, Tatum S. Norris (Eric); two nephews, Scott Singletary (Teresa) and Mitchell Singletary (Jessica); two great-nieces, Marci and Sarah; four great-nephews, Justin (Liz), Tyler (Bobbi), Jackson and Cooper; and two great-great-nieces, Paisley and Violet.
Also the Staff and Owner of B&O Services where Autrey resided in her Personal Care Home, these people with B&O were also her beloved family.
