Ayden Keith Kitchens

Ayden Keith Kitchens, 7, of Phenix City, AL went home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm EST Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Pastor Junior White officiating.  Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 pm EST prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.

Ayden was born June 2, 2008 in Opelika, AL to Cassandra Catherine Bell Kitchens.  He was a student at Ladonia Elementary School and attended Woodland Baptist Church.  His ambitions in life were to be a United States Marine like Uncle Adam, to be a technician like “T J” and work big heavy duty trucks, and to follow in his mother’s footsteps and enjoy decorating cakes.  He loved baseball, the outdoors, and family.

He is survived by his mother, Cassandra Bell Kitchens, his step-father, who loved him as his own, Thomas Kyle “T J” Rodgers, Jr., grandparents, Regina Irene Bell, Melissa Roberts, Thomas Kyle Roberts, Sr., and Michael Roberts; two sisters, Catherine Elizabeth Rodgers, and Courtney Jade Rodgers, three brothers, Donovan Nathaniel Kitchens, Leland Thomas Rodgers, and Thomas Kyle Rodgers, III; aunts and uncles, Adam Bell and wife Krista, Eric Bell, Aaron Bell, Paul Rodgers, and Christina Schlomer and husband Michael; Godmother, Edna “Mee Mee” Hathaway Hilderbrand, numerous other loving family members and many caring and loving friends.
