Barbara J. West

Barbara J. West, 84, of Columbus, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at the Columbus Hospice House. A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park, 4500 St. Marys Rd, Columbus, GA, on Thursday, August 18, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM with Rev. Reggie Williams officiating. Arrangements are being made through Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Columbus.

Barbara was born on February 24, 1938 in Walker County, AL to John Fred Guthrie and Eliza Hodgson Guthrie.

Other than her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her husband John G. West.

Survivors include her daughters Teresa Osterman (Danny) and Donna Tompkins (Greg) of Columbus, GA; brother John Paul Guthrie; grandchildren Jarred Tompkins (Jordan), Tara Marsh (Nathan), Tina Granville (Tony), Dana Osterman, and Josh Osterman; and seven
