Barbara Senn

Barbara Senn, 80, of Columbus, GA passed away Monday, August 20, 2018.  A funeral service will be held at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus, GA on Friday, August 24, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. EST.  The interment will conclude the service at Parkhill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. EST.  

Mrs. Senn was born May 10, 1938 in Columbus, GA to the late James Harvey Conaway and Vertie Taylor Conaway.  She was a member of Fort Perry Baptist Church in Marion County, GA. She was a plumber by trade with the family business, Senn Plumbing Company.  She loved flowers, gardening, cooking, peppers, children.  She was a loving grandmother, who loved her grandchildren.  She was also a loving wife and mother.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Senn is predeceased by her loving husband of sixty-one years, Marvin Senn; two brothers:  Jack Conaway and Larry Guy Conaway; and two sisters:  Dorothy Parham and Dorris Conaway.

Survivors include her four daughters:  Bonnie Faye Cook (Jeff) of Charleston, SC, Rebecca Garnto of Mauk, GA, Penny McGrail of Box Springs, GA and Tish Vandevender of Mauk, GA; two sons:  James S. Senn (Annamaria) of Mauk, Ga and Marvin Keith Senn of Cottonton, AL; two brothers:  Harry Conaway of Columbus, Ga and James Harvey Conaway, Jr (Roberta) of El Cajon, CA; eighteen grandchildren and 85 great grandchildren.
