Barton “Bart” Preston Pollard

Barton Preston Pollard, 62, of Seale, AL died at his home on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

A Service of Remembrance will be held from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM (EST) on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. A private interment will be held in Lakeview Memory Gardens, Phenix City, AL.

Mr. Pollard was born December 1, 1959, in Columbus, GA son of the late James Floyd Pollard, Sr. and Joann Cobb Pollard. He worked at Ft. Benning on the range for many years helping to train our troops. Bart was a simple man who was willing to help those in need. He enjoyed looking for arrowheads, shark teeth and being outdoors. Bart enjoyed a cold beer after a long day and a good joke shared with family and friends.

Other than his parents, James and Joann Pollard, he was preceded in death by his brother, James “Jay” Pollard, Jr.

Survivors include his three daughters, Chasity Burton and her husband Kelly of Clarksville, TN, Tiffany Siegler and her husband George of Daleville, AL, and Candice Marchand and her husband Jody of Ozark, AL; mother of his children, Jan Pollard of Seale, AL; twelve grandchildren, Joshua, Cody, Mackenzie, Reagan, Thomas, Breana, Matthew, Brayden, Madilyn, Carter and  Kinslee; four precious great-grandchildren, Archer, Ronan, Caiden and Kennedy; several other family members and friends.
