Bennie Bessie Wyrosdick

Mrs. Bennie B Wyrosdick, born December 19, 1924 in Covington county AL, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on February 10, 2016.  Mrs. “B” as she was affectionately known during her 25 plus years with the Civil Service at Fort Benning GA, is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Joseph R Wyrosdick, two grandsons, John R Wyrosdick II and Joseph M Wyrosdick.  She will be long remembered and dearly missed by her surviving family, sons, John R (Diane) Wyrosdick and David R (Jan) Wyrosdick.  Three grandchildren, Theresa (Steve) Floyd, Lisa (Patty) Rogers, David (Ann) Wyrosdick.  Eight Great grandchildren , Tara (Jeremy) Chandler, Kayla (Blake) Dreher, Chelsea Spain, Steven Floyd, John R ( Breanna) Wyrosdick, Erin Lester, Miranda Rogers and Bre Wyrosdick. Four great great -grand children, Riley, Bela, EmileeGrace and EllaKate.  Three step-grand children, Deannae (Sam) Castillo, Van Nolan and Johnny Nolan. Mrs. Bennie was a member of Schomburg Rd Baptist church and a member of the Chase Friends for 26 years.  Friends and Family will gather on Saturday Feb 13, 2016 from 11:00-1:00 with the service to follow at 1:00 pm at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Road, Columbus GA.  Brother Dale Tottie and Pastor Buddy Lamb officiating.
