Betsy Michelle Carson

Betsy Michelle Hall Carson, 66, of Phenix City, AL died at her home on Thursday, December 14, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

A Service of Remembrance will be held at a later date according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Mrs. Carson was born November 19, 1957 in Winston-Salem, NC daughter of the late Albert A. Hall and Betsy McDaniel Isaacs. She had retired from Anthem as a Federal Customer Service Representative after several years of service.

Michelle loved this time of year and all of the festivities around Christmas. She enjoyed decorating and sharing gifts with family and friends. Michelle also found her quiet place at the beach with family and friends. Any time of year was a good time for the beach. Above all else, family was priority. She loved her family and made sure they knew it too. We will miss her in our daily routine, but she has left so many fond memories in our hearts.

Mrs. Carson was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Hall and Betsy Isaacs, a brother, Albert Hall and a grandson, Jackson Rooks.

Survivors include the love of her life, Jim Carson; two children, Elizabeth Boyte (Shannon) and David Rooks (Lindsey); two sisters, Suzette Butner and Beth Isaacs; one brother, Bill Isaacs (Siobhan); sister-in-law, Kathy Carson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Pat and Beth Carson; five precious grandchildren, Abby Rooks, Jacob Rooks, Eli Boyte, June Elise Boyte and Gabe Rooks; several nieces, nephews and friends.
