Betty Jane Olson Davis

Betty Jane Olson Davis, 89, of Midland, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the Columbus Hospice House. There will be a private graveside service, according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA.  

Betty was born on February 10, 1931 in Oak Park, IL to the late Clarence and Ruth Olson. A beautiful woman with a giving heart, Betty was always eager to share a smile and an encouraging word. She worked in the family business, 4th Avenue Car Wash, for many years as the bookkeeper. She also found much happiness in attending Midland United Methodist Church. Betty’s greatest joy came from being a wife, mother, and grandmother. The love she had for her family was genuine and always evident. She has left a special imprint on each of their hearts and will be greatly missed.

Other than her parents, Betty is preceded in death by devoted husband, Charles R. Davis; sister, Petey Erickson; brothers, Eddie Olson, Bill Olson, and Mike Olson.

Survivors include her son, Richard W. Davis (Carol) and grandson, Matthew Davis, all of Midland, GA.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to Midland United Methodist Church, 9100 Warm Springs Rd, Midland, GA 31820.
