Betty Jean Hagler

Betty Jean Hagler, 74, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at her home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm EST, on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 pm EST, at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.

Mrs. Hagler was born on August 26, 1941, in Coffee County, AL, the daughter of the late Roy Goodson and Eula Goodson Thompson. She worked as a supervisor for Columbus Carpet Mill and attended White Rock Assembly of God. She enjoyed her grandkids, great grandkids and Auburn University.

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter, Debra McWilliams and several siblings.

She is survived by her husband, Winford Hagler; sister, Janice L. Goodson; 2 grandchildren, James S. Moore, wife Stacy and Joel Dewayne Gavins; 2 great grandchildren, Shannon Moore and Shawn Moore; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and many caring friends.
