Betty Jo (Williford) Pizzlatto

Betty Jo Williford Pizzlatto, 87, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm EST, on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Vance Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Richie Ashburn officiating.  The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. A private burial will be at Parkhill Cemetery Monday, February 6, 2017 at 3:00 pm.

Mrs. Pizzlatto was born September 28, 1929 in Newton, AL, daughter of the late James Samuel Brannon and Edna Bell Stephens Brannon. She loved her family and enjoyed sewing, flowers and gardening. She was a member of Silver Run Baptist Church and enjoyed gospel singing. 

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Leon J. Pizzlatto, children, Betty Elaine Stinson, Henry Eugene Williford, Bobby Curtis Williford and Robert Allen Williford.

She is survived by her children, Rebecca Gilley, Patricia Thrower, and James Larry Williford; sister, Frances Emerson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many extended family members and friends.
