Betty Ann Johnson

Ms. Betty Ann Johnson, 74, of Phenix City, AL passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Canterbury Nursing Home in Phenix City, AL.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Steve Faulk officiating. A private interment will follow in Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, GA. 

Ms. Johnson was born June 5, 1950 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late Charles Lester Johnson and Claudia Mae Anderson Johnson. Due to a disability, she spent many years living in an assisted living facility. Ms. Johnson was a huge Elvis fan and received numerous pieces of memorabilia down through the years. She was also a member of Ladonia Baptist Church. 

Other than her parents, Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her sister, Gwendolyn “Gwen” Johnson Kinley; and a brother, Donald K. Johnson.

Survivors include her brother-in-law, Rev. Jack Kinley; a special niece, Judy K. Jay and husband Howard; a nephew , Gary M. Kinley and wife June; other extended family members and friends.
