Betty Mitchell Kimbrough

Betty Mitchell Kimbrough of Cataula, Georgia passed away in the early hours of August 2, 2024. A service to honor Betty's life will be held on Monday August 5, 2024 at 12:00pm at Rehobeth Cemetery in Cataula.

Betty's kind spirit and loving nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She completed one year of college, laying the foundation for her successful career as a Medical Assistant until her well-deserved retirement. Aside from her professional endeavors, Betty found joy in simple pleasures. She enjoyed reading, attending church services, and cherished the biweekly gatherings with The Cousins to play dominos. Her beautiful voice would fill the room whenever she sang, spreading warmth and happiness to those around her.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents Willie Mitchell and Mildred Hewitt Mitchell, as well as her devoted husband Billy Joe Kimbrough and niece Angela Enfinger. She is survived by her loving brother Billy Mitchell and his wife Teresa Daniel Mitchell, her brother James Mitchell, sister-in-law Barbara Gregory, brother-in-law Zachary Gregory, nephew Tony Ray Mitchell, niece Amy Dowdy and her husband Steve, great-nephews Tyler Enfinger and Chandler Hayden Dowdy and his wife Annalyce, great-niece Emily Herin and her husband Jarred, and great-great-nephew Dansby. "The Cousins" held a special place in Betty's heart, providing her with cherished memories and lifelong friendships.

Betty's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace as her legacy of love and kindness lives on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
