Betty Frazier Lloyd

Betty Frazier Lloyd, 96, of Hurtsboro, AL died at her home on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, surrounded by family at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 (CDT) on Saturday, February 15, 2025, in Hurtsboro Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Turner officiating according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Interment will follow in Hurtsboro City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until the funeral hour at the church on Saturday. 

Mrs. Lloyd was born July 4, 1928, in Thomaston, GA daughter of the late Arthur John Frazier and Minnie Riley Frazier. She was an active member of Hurstboro Methodist Church where she enjoyed worshiping with family and friends. Mrs. Lloyd had retired from Ft. Benning where she worked in the Employment Office. She was also a volunteer with the Hurtsboro Library for many years. 

We will remember her as a stable figure in our home and the community. She was true to her Christian faith until she was called home to Heaven. We will miss her, but we realize she is now reunited with loved ones in Heaven. 

Mrs. Lloyd was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Minnie Frazier; her husband, Hugh Martin Lloyd and a son, Michael “Mike” Lee Lloyd. 

Survivors include her three sons, Thomas Andrew Phillips, John Stephen Phillips and Raymond Hill Phillips; eighteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and four great-greatgrandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
