Betty May Baker

Betty May Kramer Baker, 91, of Phenix City, AL, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Midtown Medical Center in Columbus, GA.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm EST, on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Vance Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Mike Turner officiating. A private interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2:00 until 3:00 pm EST, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Baker was born on January 7, 1927, in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late John H. Kramer and Claribell France Baker.  She retired after many years of service with the County of Marion, FL. 

Other than her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Marcy McGowin; a son, Gary W. Baker and a brother, Lloyd Linde.

She is survived by a daughter, Becky Bellinger and husband James of Buffalo, NY; a son, Craig Baker and wife Jodie of Buffalo, NY; two sisters, Shirley Grudvien and husband Chet and Dorothy Palm, both of Growanda, NY; nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; care takers Catherine Casteel and Brandy George and other extended family and caring friends.
