Mr. Billie Adams

Billie Adams, 71, of Seale, AL passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 in the comfort of home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral services will be held 3:00 pm EDT Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Sammy Turner officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens and the family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm EDT at the funeral home. Mr. Adams was born March 19, 1944 Pike County, AL to the late Johnny C. Adams and Ollie B. McClendon Adams. He had work with R C Cola in Columbus, GA. He served our country as a Veteran of the United States Army and the United States Army National Guard. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and gardening and was a Baptist by faith. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Elaine Whitley, sister, Shirley Watson and Eunice Howell, brother, Jerry Adams, and a granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Bailey. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Martha Jo Dorrill Adams of Seale, AL, daughters, Barbara Diane Simpson of Seale, AL, Bobbie Jean Miller and husband Mark of Phenix City, AL, sons, Danny Lamar Adams and wife Sloan of Phenix City, AL, and William Kenneth “Kenny” Adams and wife April of Phenix City, AL; sisters, Janice Spears of Columbus, GA, and Margaret Johns and husband Gene of Crawford, AL, one brother, R C Adams and wife Betty of Crawford, AL Grandchildren, Becky Lee Hodges (BJ), Alana Graham, Michael Bailey, Randy Miller, Kelsey Little (Corey), Ashley Kite, Brooke Jackson (James), Jennifer Harris, Samantha Harris, David Whitley, Chris Whitley, James Whitley, great grandchildren, Cooper, DJ, Alexis, Cameron, and Chaeli Raye, and his beloved pet dogs, Bitsey and Baby Girl.
