Billy Wayne Cobb Cw3(Ret)

Chief Warrant Officer 3(Ret) Billy Wayne Cobb, 78, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2017, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Ft Mitchell National Cemetery with procession from Vance Memorial Chapel at 1:30. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 before the service at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City.

Mr. Cobb was born on April 4, 1939, in Knoxville, TN, to the late Jess and Thelma Gentry Cobb. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the US Army and was a member of VFW Post#5228. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Anna Cobb, two brothers, Freddie and Cecil Cobb and a sister Wanda Mason.

He is survived by two daughters, Betty Morrison (Guy) of Ormond Beach, FL and Barbara Shuff (Jay) of Smiths, AL; two grandchildren, Nikaila Morrison and Ashley Hall, brother, Gary Cobb (Mary) of Williamston, SC.
