Bobbie Ann Gordan Ogletree, 79, of Phenix City, AL died at her residence while surrounded by her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, April 06, 2021 in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Michael Greer officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ogletree was born December 08, 1941 in Damascus, GA daughter of the late Robert Lee Gordon and Peameale Ann Henry Gordon. She was an active member of the Word of Faith Church and her families lives. Mrs. Ogletree was always working around the home, her late husband’s business and owning and operating her own tanning salon in recent years. She was also active in the community participating in “Hee Haw” fund raisers for victims of Child Abuse and Battered Women’s Shelters. While always active, she never forgot her children and especially her grandchildren. Making time to watch or participate in any events they were involved with. We will remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was committed to her Lord first and her family.
Mrs. Ogletree was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 61 years, Fletcher Eugene “Pitts” Ogletree and siblings.
Survivors include her two sons, Fletcher Eugene Ogletree, Jr. and Rusty Ogletree (Kara) all of Phenix City, AL; two siblings, Eddie Todd and Arnold Gordon (Nola); two grandchildren, Amanda Kempisty and Russ Ogletree (Taylor); great-grandchildren, Nathan, Logan and Colton; numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
