Bobbie Jean Maddox, 61, of Smiths Station, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, 3738 Hwy 431 N, Phenix City, Alabama with Reverend Gerald Corbin officiating. The interment will be held at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
Bobbie was born on October 4, 1960, in HI, the daughter of Juan Chevere and Ella Ruth Melton Chevere. She was a retired LPN. Bobbie was a member of Friendship Penicostal Church. She loved the Lord and her church family as well as her own family and could often be heard laughing with (and at) her sisters. Bobbie enjoyed decorating for holidays especially Thanksgiving and Christmas. She set a loving example of how to live a Christian life. Bobbie was compassionate, had a positive attitude, looked at both sides of any situation, and was very giving to those in need. She will always be remembered for her love of her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Juan Chevere; and mother, Ella Ruth Chevere.
She is survived by her son, Justin Shane Maddox; two daughters, Kelsey DeJesus, and Kaitlyn (Paulino) Borja; two sisters, Rose Chevere, and Dawn McCrumb; granddaughter, Paige Borja; grandson, Bentley Borja; as well as several extended family and caring friends.
