Bobby J. McGuire, 78, of Phenix City, Alabama, went to be with her Lord on Monday, December 5, 2022, at her residence, with her family by her side.
A “Roll Tide” Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM EST on Thursday, December 8, 2022, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Lumpkin officiating. Internment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM EST, at the funeral home.
Mrs. McGuire was born in Columbus, Georgia, the daughter of the late David Athey Pugh, Sr. and Betty Louise Fuller Edwards. She worked as a Warp Tender at Swift Textiles mill until her retirement. Mrs. McGuire truly loved spending time on her computer talking to her many FaceBook friends and playing online POGO games. Fishing was a passion she greatly enjoyed. Above all, she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. McGuire was preceded in death by her husband Clint Ronald McGuire, Sr.; sisters Betty Jo Singleton and Patricia Anderson; brother David Athey Pugh, Jr., and granddaughter Lauren Renee Whitley.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Joanna Osborn Loyd (Ronnie) and Terry Osborn (David); sons Clint Ronald McGuire, Jr. (Laura), Ronnie Kilpatrick (Cindy) and Blake Crews; sister Lynda Pugh Osbon; grandchildren Bobby Jo Ray, J. T. Hannan, Casondra Kelloes, Jared Whitley, Montana Halstead, Melvin Kilpatrick (Danielle), Angel Bowens (Joshua), Doniaven Kilpatrick (Kristie Lynn) and Dustin Kilpatrick (Allison); sixteen great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family members.
