Mrs. Brenda Wells Orr

Mrs. Brenda Wells Orr, 70, of N. Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 27, 1951 in Seale, Alabama to Mark and Katie Wells (both deceased). She is survived by her husband of 46 years, David Randall Orr.

Also surviving are Brenda’s children, Olivia Orr Epps of Halifax, Virginia, and Grady Orr and his wife, Lindsay, of Mechanicsville, Virginia; four grandchildren, Addison and Luke Epps, of Halifax, Virginia, and Harper and Lawson Orr, of Mechanicsville, Virginia; her sister, Becky Wells Ivey (husband, Leo) of Phenix City, Alabama; and numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family, and friends whom she deeply loved.

Brenda’s brothers, Jimmy Wells and Johnny Wells, and her sisters, Glenda Wells Danielson and Debbie Wells, preceded her in death.

Brenda was a faithful Christian and fiercely loved her family and friends. She was a dedicated wife and mother, even known by many outside her family as “Momma Orr.” In addition to her commitment to her family and home, Brenda took on many roles throughout her life including, hard-working professional, church and school volunteer, baseball/softball mom, marching band mom, and many more. Brenda loved to read and cherished every minute with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
