Brennan Robert Edward Pierce, a radiant soul of 20 years, slipped gently from this world on Sunday, April 6, 2025, cradled in the care of Piedmont Columbus Midtown in Columbus, Georgia. Born on February 26, 2005, in the same city that would one day bid him farewell, Brennan was the cherished son of Dustin Scott Pierce and Jennifer Green—a light woven from their love.
A celebration of his vibrant life will unfold in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama, where we will be guided in song and prayer. Afterward, Brennan will be laid to rest beneath the tender watch of Lakeview Memory Gardens, his spirit free to dance with the winds. The family will open their hearts to friends from 10:00-11:00 am EST until the funeral hour on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, gathering at the funeral home to share stories and hold tight to his memory.
Brennan’s days were filled with the hum of creation—he worked as a Fabricator at A & E Roofing. Yet his truest joys sang louder: the thrill of Call of Duty battles with friends, the rhythm of music that pulsed through his soul, and the quiet pride of stepping out fresh in shoes and clothes he loved, saving money and making more. His spirit was a rare melody—easy-going, unexplainable, a tune you’d never find in another. He treasured his real friends, those lucky few who knew his laughter, and he wrapped his family in beach trips that shimmered like gold in memory—fishing poles in hand, waves crashing, and Ethan always near. His truck was his chariot, a gleaming testament to his care—he’d call out to Nanny or Paw or Daddy, eager to polish it until it shone like his smile. Now, Brennan rests in a great place called Heaven, taken too soon, leaving an ache deeper than words can carry. But oh, how he lives on—in the hearts he warmed, in the memories he painted across our lives.
He walks now with those who left before: his father, Dustin Scott Pierce, and his maternal grandfather, Robert “Bobby” Earl Green.
Those he leaves behind hold him still—his mother, Jennifer Green; his brother, Trenton Pierce of Smiths Station, Alabama; his maternal grandmother, Christine “Oma” Green; his paternal grandparents, Sonder and Eddie Harmon; his Uncle Arron Harmon, Eric Harmon, Adrian Amezquita; his Aunts, Liz and Brenda; and his dearest friends, Cashus Washington, Ethan Sinclair, Andy Lehman, Lance, and so many others who loved him fiercely.
Brennan, you are missed beyond measure, a star plucked from our sky too soon. Yet your light remains—eternal, beautiful, forever ours.
