Brian Keith Blankenship Jr.

Brian Keith Blankenship, Jr., 31, of Columbus, GA passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Church of God, 7701 Lloyd Rd, Columbus, GA on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Tommy Bradford and Pastor Roger Morrison officiating.

Brian was born on January 25, 1990 in Columbus, GA to Brian Keith Blankenship, Sr. and Mitzi Mickle Blankenship. He had a gift for taking the most ordinary places and turning them into beautiful pictures which he often posted on Facebook. Brian enjoyed sports and was especially passionate about NASCAR and “his” UGA Bulldogs. He was a storm chaser at heart and would frequently post warnings about possible inclement weather. Brian loved his family and adored his little dog, Graci. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Other than his parents, Brian is survived by his sister, Megan Thrower (Michael); niece, Sadie Thrower; nephew, Jason Thrower; aunts, Kristi Wisdom (Marc) and Alicia Mickle (Jessica); and many other family members and friends.
