Bruce "Wayne" Sanes

Wayne Sanes, 72, of Columbus, GA passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2016 in the comfort of his home while surrounded by his family.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 EST Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Pastor Michael Sanes officiating.

Mr. Sanes was born July 4, 1943 in Columbus, GA to the late Alton Sanes and Lessie Boykin Sanes. He worked at Swift Mills for over 40 years before retiring. He loved his family and was always willing to help others. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Faye Shavers and a brother Preston Sanes.

He is survived by one son, Andrew Murphree; two brothers, John David Sanes and wife Ruth, Bobby Sanes and wife Joyce; many nieces and nephews, and numerous other loving family members, and many caring friends.
