Bryce Davis

Bryce Davis, 16, of Ft. Mitchell, AL died Tuesday, January 28, 2020.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Golden Acres Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL.  Interment will follow at Oswichee Baptist Church Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, AL.  The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, at Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL.

Bryce was born February 7, 2003 in Columbus, GA, son of Kenneth and Pam Ryals Davis.  He was a junior at Central High School of Phenix City. Bryce loved  playing baseball and was an outstanding player.  He was #15 on the Central baseball team, where he played shortstop and outfield.  Bryce also enjoyed spending time with his friends and being outdoors, hunting and fishing.  In addition to that, he was working at Culver’s restaurant.  Bryce had a big heart and brought joy to everyone around him.  He will truly be missed by his family, friends, teammates and classmates.

He was preceded in death by a paternal grandmother, Vivian Curliss.

Other than his parents, Bryce is survived by maternal grandparents, Elaine Ryals and Harold Ryals (Judy), all of Ft. Mitchell, AL; paternal grandparents, Bobby Davis (Doris) of Columbus, GA and Clyde Curliss of Phenix City, AL; one sister, Niki Harris (John) of Seale, AL; one brother, Trevor Davis (Chandler) of Thomasville, GA; a nephew Davis Harris; aunts, Sharon Spurlock, Denise Maddox and Debbie Campbell (Colon); uncles, Dwayne Ryals (Teresa) and Bobby Davis (Bridgett); cousins, Amanda Watford (Johnny), Dillon Spurlock (Marissa), Leianna, Laura, Sabrina, Haley and Blake; several other extended family and numerous friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to your favorite charity in memory of Bryce.
