Carl Odell Hawks

Carl Odell Hawks, 85, of Phenix City, AL, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am EST, on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mr. Hawks was born on July 2, 1930, in Virginia, the son of the late Hilmer Hawks and Duck Surratt Hawks. He served in the US Army and retired as Master SGT. He also retired from Pepsi Cola.

Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Inge Hawks, step mom, Gladys Lowe Hawks, sister, Linda Brown Hawks Tindal, sister, Shirley Edwards, brothers, Billy Hawks and Charles Hawks.

He is survived by a son in-law, Kenneth Tindal; sisters, Catherine McClain of Independence, VA; step daughter, June Upchurch of Lambsburg, VA; extended family members and many caring friends.
