Carlon Ray Huckaby

Carlon Ray Huckaby, 76, of Phenix City, AL died Monday, June 14, 2021, while at Canterbury Nursing Home in Phenix City, AL.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM (EST) on Thursday, June 17, 2021, in the Chapel of Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Huckaby was born November 12, 1944, in Columbus, GA son of the late Durwood Huckaby and Lucy Agnes Chadwick Huckaby. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran serving in the Vietnam War Era. Mr. Huckaby had retired from Fieldcrest Mills as a Quality Inspector with over 33 years of committed service. He was of the Pentecostal Faith, worshiping for many years at Rolph Survey Assembly of God and in his later years at Sand Hill Bible Church. He enjoyed flowers of any type and enjoyed walking in beautiful gardens. We will miss him, but he will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Mr. Huckaby was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Floyd Huckaby and Lamar Huckaby.
Survivors include his daughter, Kim Walka (Jody), Anderson, SC; four siblings, Louise Lenoir, Phenix City, AL, Faye Ryals (Harrell), Montgomery, AL, Donald Huckaby and Johnny Huckaby (Suzanne) all of Phenix City, AL; granddaughter, Mallory Watson, Anderson, SC; two great-grandchildren, Reed and Ella Hargis both of Anderson, SC; several nieces, nephews and friends.
