Carlos Guillermo, Jr.

Carlos Guillermo JR, 75 passed away October 4, 2015 at Columbus Hospice House. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, 2015 beginning at 3:00 P.M. EST, at Evergreen Memorial Park. Pastor Koreen Guillermo will be officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:30 P.M. EST, at Vance-Brooks Funeral Home, 4048 Macon Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.

Carlos Guillermo Jr was born October 7, 1939 in Honolulu, HI, son of the late Carlos Guillermo, SR. and Evelyn Lacara Guillermo. Carlos was an OTR Truck Driver. He loved the outdoors, in his spare time he enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and bowling with friends.

Other than his parents Carlos is preceded in death by, sisters, Josephine Maka, and Rose Orita; brothers,  Franklin Guillermo, and Florendo Guillermo.

Survivors include, brother, Valeriano "Billy" Guillermo (Lani);  daughter, Evelyn Ruth Hess (Ashley) of Columbus, GA; sons, Richard Allen Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, Carl Sonny Guillermo (Koreen) of El paso, TX, Kenneth Lee Guillermo (Menchie) of El Paso, TX, Avery Zachary Guillermo (Rose Mary) of El Paso, TX, and Frank Kalama Guillermo of Fayetteville, NC; grandchildren, Kalena Ruona-Trimble, Jeramiah Smith, Brianne West, Nathen, Ambely, John, Leilani, Keilani, Kayla, Frank Guillermo, Jr.  Clinton Good, Taylor Swinnery, Sarah Jessica Webb, Dillon Welch; great grandchildren, Daniel, Laney, Quiara, Shayle, Isaiah, Marcus, Alexis, Aria,Kira, Julian and Lily.

Carlos Guillermo was a loving father and grandfather and caring friend. He will forever be remembered for his kind heart and free spirit.
